As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we are so very grateful for the outpouring of generosity at our Starry, Starry Night fundraiser and the volunteers and participants who helped create such a memorable event.
It was an inspiring night with a message of hope and love for Haiti. Bishop Desinord Jean’s message laid out a vision for Haiti, one in which Haitians work hand-in-hand to “shift the paradigm” and achieve a brighter future. He thanked Sacred Heart Cathedral and the parish of St. Anselm for supporting the building of a new church in the parish of St. Michel.
Your support and commitment continue to make a difference in the life of the community. More children have the chance to go to school, more people can benefit from health care, and more people are touched by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
